Hello, and welcome to my website!
I’m Chris Miller, and I'm a virtual production technical director and Unreal Engine technical artist based out of Atlanta, GA, specializing in real-time effects, lighting, and look development for previsualization.
My real passion lies with understanding and embodying
"where the rubber meets the road", or combining an understanding
of the tech/engineering with the creative/CG aspects of virtual production, as well as the face-to-face collaboration of working on-site.
Previously, I have worked in many aspects of virtual production, including
real-time green screen compositing, augmented reality (AR), extended reality (XR), pipeline development, real-time CG and look development. Prior to that, I worked in many aspects of CG, including 4 animated feature films, architecture visualization, product rendering/showcasing, games, and commercial work (see OTHER WORK tab), which has given me a strong understanding of the rendering/creative pipeline integral to the creative process of working in virtual production.
