Holiday AR Table

Here's a project I directed for the 2020 holiday season. The idea was to, instead of attempting to incorporate the CG AR element into the real world by means of just modifying the CG, why not make the AR element look like it's being lit by practical lighting? So, I incorporated a lighting setup practically, then mimicked the lighting temp/intensity/position in UE4.

The scene was ported into Zero Density, with the table environment's location measured and offset so that it rested on top of a practical table, practical lighting was set up, and the CG was color graded in accordance with the video feed.

The first two videos are concepts I shot during the development process, with the third being the final edit.

Duties: Scene setup for AR, CG and practical lighting, live operating/color grading, camera operating
